Security

We use 128-bit or higher encryption to protect during the transmission of data to our site and encrypt data at rest. If we suspect any suspicious activity on your account then we’ll alert you as soon as possible

Incident response

We have a dedicated security team that investigates and responds to issues as quickly as possible

We work with independent third-parties who regularly assess our site for vulnerabilities.

External auditing

Roost is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant. All team members adhere to the company’s security policy and code of conduct

Regulation

Roost is regularly reviewed and complies third-party audits, and regulations from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We also work with in-state attorneys to ensure local jurisdiction compliance.

Banking

Roost partners with FDIC-insured banks, and includes FDIC pass-through insurance.
